Finally, after nine months, we found an owner. The best part is that he is our neighbour so we can see Lucky occasionally!
I also just discovered Lucky’s origin, or rather, the lack of it. I contacted the previous owner to obtain some documents on Lucky. However, they felt frustrated at me because I was asking some questions about Lucky. I asked for Lucky’s documents and the pet shop where they got Lucky. They gave me the standard BS answer—” Oh, we used translation for everything, and we lost the documents.” That was some “horse sheet”. I can’t trust a single word from the owner anymore.
The only thing I can gauge from the horrible ex-owner was that Lucky was two months old when he arrived at their place in August 2020. I can only assume that Lucky’s birth month is June 2020.
There is a huge juxtaposition between the new owner and the crappy ex-owner. Firstly, he has four dogs. He has one Golden Retriever (the same age as Lucky, so they are best buddies) and three smaller dogs. They know what they are doing. I can entirely trust them to take care of Lucky.
I hope this will be Lucky’s last owner. He has been moving around quite a lot, which is challenging. He needs to learn to settle down and socialise with other dogs. Lucky is fun and obedient around humans but still shy and awkward around dogs. I am sure the new owner will train him well.
